Points System

All tournaments are fished as a team. All points will be awarded as team points.

If an angler chooses to fish alone, he/she may do so. Each team will weigh in five fish and will place in that tournament based upon those fish.

Points will be awarded to each Points will be based upon a 100 boat tournament every tournament. The points received will be determined by the place you finish. 1st place is 100pts, 2nd place is 99pts., 3rd place is 98pts, and so on.

Teams who fish and report to weigh in with no fish will be awarded last place points, divided by 2. (Example, if 50 boats fish the tournament, and only 20 catch fish, all teams who fished and did not weigh in will receive 39.5 points (79/2).)

Teams who do not weigh in fish, and DO NOT REPORT that they had a zero will receive ZERO (0) Points. In other words, check in whether you have zeroed or not and if you want points.

You may call the tournament director to report the zero if you wish.

Bonus points will be awarded as follows.

As well, any team that won a tournament but happened to finish outside of the Top 25, also qualifies for the championship.

2.     Any team may substitute a partner twice in one year without penalty. The substitute can’t be a guide or have ever guided on the lake being fished. After two substitutions, the team can still substitute with a 10 point penalty, or one angler may fish alone.
