2010 Wiregrass Bass Trail Championship
2010 marks the beginning of the 1st Annual
Sportsman's Outfitters Wiregrass Bass Trail Championship. The
tournament trail kicks off January 9th at Lakepoint Marina on
Lake Eufaula in beautiful Eufaula, Alabama. With over $1500.00
in guaranteed Cash and Gift Prizes every month, this trail is
shaping up to be one of the best in the area. The best part,
entry is free with a $25 in store purchase each month before the

Each tournament will be fished as a team, however individual
points will be given and at the end of the year, the top two
anglers will receive an angler of the year prize. The tournament
trail will conclude on December 19th with the Sportsman's
Classic, where the top 20 in points will qualify. Below is a
list of prizes and rules. We look forward to seeing you this

2nd Place - $300.00 Cash
3rd Place - $200.00 Cash
4th Place - (2) $50 Gift Cards
5th Place - (2) $25 Gift Cards
Points System
All tournaments are fished as a team.
If an angler chooses to fish alone, he/she may do so. Each team will weigh in
five fish and will place in that tournament based upon those fish.
Points will be
awarded on an individual basis. Points will be based upon a 200 boat tournament
every tournament. The points received will be determined by the place you
finish. 1st place is 200pts, 2nd place is 199pts., 3rd place is 198pts, and so
on.
Bonus points will be awarded as follows.
1st Place - 30 Bonus Points
2nd Place - 10 Bonus Points
3rd Place - 5 Bonus Points
Big Fish - 10 Bonus Points
10 Bonus Points will also be awarded to each angler for each tournament that he
fishes. If you fish all 11 tournaments, you will earn an extra 110 points
throughout the season. No points are awarded for a "0" (no fish weighed in).
Top 20 in points qualifies for the Classic in December. Classic Date is
November 20th, with location TBD at a later date.
